Terms of Service

Last updated · August 28, 2026

1. The service

Covered AI ("the service") provides shift coordination for workplaces: schedule ingestion, worker messaging by SMS and voice, shift confirmations, absence handling, shift offers, and related records. The service is provided to businesses ("customers") for use with their workforce.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of their account, and for ensuring they have the right to enroll the workers they add. Workers must be of legal working age.

3. Messaging

Messaging is governed by the Covered AI SMS & RCS Program Terms, which cover enrollment, message types, frequency, rates, help and opting out. Workers may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Customers agree not to use the service to send content unrelated to shift coordination.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to violate any law, to harass any person, to send unsolicited marketing, or to interfere with the operation of the service.

5. Scheduling decisions

The service assists with coordination. Employment decisions — scheduling, compensation, discipline, and compliance with labor laws applicable to the customer's workforce — remain the customer's responsibility.

6. Data

Handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Customers retain ownership of their business data; Covered AI may use aggregated, de-identified data to operate and improve the service.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Covered AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from missed, delayed, or misdelivered messages. Total liability is limited to amounts paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The current version will always be available at this page.
